Choir and Special Music
Chancel Choir
Our choir sings music during the Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter seasons. Some members of the choir also occasionally performed solos, duets and trios throughout the year. Lead by Matt Dohm, the choir sings 3 or 4 part harmonies.
Special Music
We have had special music throughout the year when talented musicians and vocalists would visit. At times, music director Matt Dohm brings in talented musicians to perform. Our first Sunday in Lent 2021, when we were still on Zoom, featured Dr. Justine Summers singing “God So Loved the World”. Listen and subscribe to our YouTube channel! Preludes and Postludes
While Matt Dohm typically provides his preludes and postludes “live” when in church or on Zoom, he occasionally will record them so he can play on his recently gifted Kawai grand piano. He is playing a medley of “I’ve Got Peace Like a River” with “It is Well”.
Music Sundays
Typically once in a year, usually during the summer, we have a music Sunday. Different congregants and outside friends bring their musical talents to us – musical instruments, voice, and a mix!
